Flight instruction shall be scheduled a minimum of 2 hours using online scheduling via our Yahoo calendar, or scheduled in person or email/telephone by contacting one of the Club’s flight instructors.

All members may schedule and reserve flight time and instructor time as far in advance as they wish.

Student pilots may cancel a scheduled flight at least 24 hours in advance without any charge by contacting a Club flight instructor.  Members will give at least 24 hours notice when canceling or changing scheduled flights for any reason other than unsafe weather conditions or preflight discovered aircraft mechanical problems.  In the event flight is not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the time scheduled, Club, at its option, reserves the right to charge the Member one (1) hour of flight time and one (1) hour of instructor time, if applicable.  Member agrees to schedule aircraft when their plans are definite and for the amount of time they intend to use the aircraft.  Member will be considered a no-show if aircraft is not dispatched to them within one half hour of the scheduled time, and no attempt to contact Club has been made.  At that time the aircraft will be made available to other Members.  Further, student pilots are required to contact their instructor personally when canceling.

Flight instructors will determine if weather conditions are such that flight instruction must be cancelled.  There is no charge for weather related cancellations.

The optimum and preferred amount of student flying and instruction time is approximately 6 hours each week.  This will keep the student pilot on track with minimal repeat training needed.
